PIPE DREAMS – SS2018 BY BIANCA POPP
This week, Bianca Popp launched in Bucharest the new 2018 Spring-Summer collection, Pipe Dreams. A perfect moment to celebrate the transition to warmer seasons and a collection that tells us about the deep emotions that emerge out of the hibernation cycle, being confronted with sharp decisions absolutely necessary for each of us to evolve.
The collection is intended for women who take on the need for connectivity and learn the adaptation process. Duality is also present throughout the collection. Pieces cut in disciplined architectural lines interfere with fluid, unsupported lines that get new shapes on the move. Neutral colors are the messenger of a complete reconstruction process. The naked back, revealed in an overview of a dress, blouse or overcoat, highlights the vulnerability that is specific to the ongoing phenomenon.
Pipe Dreams is a collection of industrial spring, about making structural changes to develop. A collection about the permeability of emotions, fluidity of decisions, adaptability and connectivity.
Pipe Dreams talks about decided, but broken lines, about architectural shapes that end up in the air, industrial-treated natural materials, and good colors that end up naughty.
Ultimately, the collection aims to elicit a question with an imminent answer: “In fact, who am I and what are I doing here?”
