BALMAIN Paris x L’Oreal Paris Lipstick Collection

L’Oreal Paris together with Balmain created a collection of limited-edition lipsticks that are now available in Romania. The Caps Collection has become an extension to the #BalmainArmy hashtag on Instagram, and I think you already know that Olivier has a suite of models that usually roam in shows and appear in Balmain campaigns. 12 of them now appear in the most recent Balmain x L’Oreal Paris campaign and Lara Stone, Neelam Gill, Alexina Graham, Ysaunny Brito, Soo Joo Park and Doutzen Kroes are just six of them – so diverse, exotic, interesting, finally promoting a single message: that of beauty through diversity.

It is a limited collection in a palette of colors carefully chosen by Olivier Rousteing along with the specialists from the L’Oreal Paris laboratories. Olivier has been very involved in the process of creating these products – as we have seen here and here in the photos on his Instagram account, and although he started with a generous palette, he reduced the 12-color list that embodies the three ideas of femininity: Safari, Rock and Couture. The message? “Democratization of Podium Beauty”. A chromatic for every woman, regardless of its origins.

Deep shades of electric blue, purple, brown chocolate and a grunge nude, all inspired by the rock woman.

The shades of the new Paris Balmain X L’Oreal Paris lips are designed in such a way that every woman, regardless of her origin and her tribe, finds herself in a color. The formula – because we speak of Color Riche – is infused with pure color pigments and camellia oil to give a vibrant color and at the same time provide a mate-moisture finish

COUTURE WOMAN

Four shades specially designed for the podium: dominating red, dark purple, peach and rose gold, all in a glossy black pack.

For now, online reviews say the formula does not seem totally mate or gain that finish at a certain amount of time since it’s applied, but we still have to try these lipsticks these days at the office and come back with a verdict. Okey. And where do we find them in the end? The entire collection is now available in Romania through the Kendra store network.
