It’s getting colder and colder and we are obviously thinking about a ski or snowboarding escape, somewhere as far away as possible from the city and emails. I’ve decided to write an article about true winter looks, slope looks that is. In this post you will find out where can you find the coolest snow gear, the warmest snow boots made in Romania and last but not least which are the coolest gadgets dedicated to winter sports. And yes, some of them can be great Christmas gifts. Let’s ride:

If you are like me, and you don’t approve on the classic white/red, white/blue, white/green colour combos for your snow gear, you should take a look at SOS (Sportswear of Sweden) which have stores in 11 countries (including US & UK) and create Scandinavian history inspired snow gear featuring a dark colour palette with a rocknrolla twist. I promise this is different from everything you’ve ever seen. You don’t wanna’ blend in, don’t you?

When I think about winter sports, I can’t stop thinking about snow getting on my back so one of my to-go recommendations is to wear a body and not a blouse. The one I’m wearing doubles as a swimwear – you know, just in case there’s a cool spa nearby.

I’m the type of person that suffers a lot in cold. If there’s a wind blowing in Cluj, it’s going to find me somehow. As you already know, you have to mind your extremities and wear something thick and warm & my to-go choice are these fluffy snow boots from Adola Lucescu’s atelier. Crafted from faux fur and snow-resistant sole, these boots come in a variety of colours and they are the cold season’s must have. I already have them on black, white and pine green, and I’m planning on ordering another pair, in cappuccino.

If there’s something I expect out of my snowboarding goggles, that’s mirrored lenses due to the fact that the mirrored lens reduces the sun & snow light. Another expectation would be the curved lens for a better peripheral view, 100% UV rays protection and a special anti-fog coating. Don’t worry if you are wearing glasses, because these UVEX babies also come with prescription lenses.

Nowadays technology is advancing faster than ever and we have so many cool gadgets that not only make our lives easier but also enrich our experience as we ride the slopes.
