1st of June got me like…

The story of this look begins, naturally, with the Irina Schrotter top that I brought along from Iasi. A silk top, with black and white stripes that saved me from many fashion dilemmas (even though it didn’t appear on the blog yet). I wanted to shoot this one on my birthday, so I wore it with a square shirt as a skirt and with the belt Raul made for me last night. Everything in this look has a story, so let me tell you everything, from top to bottom: My sunglasses have the price of 25 lei and I bought them on a night in Patong Beach, in Thailand. We were capturing everything on our holiday video as we were walking in Patong. It was crazy, you’ll see. Anyway, these sunglasses came in six colors, I tried: red, yellow, green. In the end I paid 230 baht, so 25 in the Romanian currency. The coolest sunglasses ever, you’ll see them on the blog a lot. The belt I’m wearing is made by Raul. Yes, he’s very talented in many ways, he surprises me every day. He worked for two nights for this belt. The metal rings are from a different belt, yet the result is unexpected. Moody. It’s obviously a waist belt since I like there kind of belts and I don’t really wear low wasted jeans. The shirt is from Wardrobe B, I’ve been wearing it for over three years now and I still love it. I love it even more today, because it worked perfectly as a skirt. Beat that, skirts! The Michael Kors shoes I found in Miami, USA. Again, I find myself thinking about our holiday in the States. With a metallic, silver tip and black and white pattern, as well as the thick ankle strap, this pair of shoes is the epitome of “sexy, spirited” (yes, I stole if from ELLE).

Today is my birthday, so I’ll be leaving these photos on the blog, see you on Instagram later. Happy birthday to you too, for the 1st of June, as we all are, at least in our hearts, children.
